ShowOpera is a breathtaking musical performance, uniting excellent opera arias, famous Neapolitan songs and colourful Russian romances.

ShowOpera is a unique project, combining classical music, academic vocal and modern show technologies. The program consists of all highlights of the world classics, performed by the best voices of opera.

Each piece of ShowOpera is full of various means of expression. Original scenography together with multimedia decoration, 3D installation and individual solution for light arrangement create possibility of immediate levitation from one space to another. Medieval castles, interiors of palaces, Russian vast lands, Venecian cityscapes,- all that and much much more will enjoy the spectator of ShowOpera.

The ShowOpera participants are the grand symphony orchestra and soloists of the leading opera houses - Mariinsky, Bolshoi, Vienna and others.

Today ShowOpera has already gained the appreciation of the audience in Russia. Tomorrow ShowOpera is ready to gain the world.

Gala-concert in the Grand Concert Hall “Oktyabrskiy”

On April 11, 2018, the gala-concert of the international ShowOpera project was held in the Grand Concert Hall “Oktyabrskiy”.

The owner of the highest voice in the world, Svetlana Feodulova took part in the show. The outstanding vocalist set two world records at once. Firstly, she performed the Rondo alla Terca by Mozart at the fastest tempo. Also, she picked the highest note in history!

ShowOpera in Moscow

On May 26, in the center of Moscow, the event dedicated to the 315th anniversary of St. Petersburg foundation was held.

Muscovites and guests of the capital could enjoy an exciting music show, which connected classical music and modern show technology. The most beautiful views of St.Petersburg appeared on a large multimedia screen in 3D format as a part of the show.

ShowOpera in Bulgaria

Since the time of Peter the Great, St. Petersburg has been considered as the “window to Europe” and the most European city of Russia. In 20019 the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv was declared the cultural capital of Europe. Therefore, the visit of delegates from St. Petersburg was not accidental. It was a sign of respect, a symbolic gift "from the cultural capital of the world to the cultural capital of Europe."

On April 3, 2019, the unique project ShowOpera, burnt in St. Petersburg, took place on the stage of the “Boris Christov” Palace of Culture.

Soloists of the leading opera houses, worldly recognized vocalists and participants of popular television projects took part in the show together with Grand Orchestra of Plovdiv.

ShowOpera has one more time gained the hearts of Petersburgers

On the 22nd of February, the ShowOpera one more time amazed guests and residents of St. Petersburg!

Excellent opera arias, famous Neapolitanian songs and Russian romances were performed by leading opera singers.

The special guest of the show was Edwin Marton. The star of the world stage played masterpieces of world classics and modern hits on the legendary 1699 Stradivarius violin.

The event was supported by the St. Petersburg Committee for Culture.

DEBUT OF THE SHOWOPERA AT THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE

On September 17, 2023, the Svetlanovsky Hall of the Moscow International Performing Arts Centre hosted the gala concert of ShowOpera.

The evening's highlights included performances by the Symphony Orchestra of the Leningrad Region, under the baton of Mikhail Golikov, People's Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. The concert featured an impressive lineup of soloists from leading opera theaters:

  • Svetlana Feodulova, world's highest voice, a record holder in the Russian Book of Records and the Guinness Book of Records, participant of the First Channel television project "The Voice"
  • Alexander Miminosvili, soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre and finalist of the "Big Opera" television project on the Culture channel
  • Ilya Selivanov, soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre
  • Tsvetana Omelchuk, soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre
  • Boris Stepanov, soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre
  • Alexander Shakhov, soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theatre
  • Konstantin Brzhinsky, soloist of the Helikon-Opera Theater
  • Shota Chibirov, soloist of the Helikon-Opera Theater
  • Anna Vikulina, soloist of the F.I.Shalyapin Musical Theatre
